- Business Information: Company name, logo, GST/VAT/tax numbers, address, and contact details
- Customer Information: Customer names, phone numbers, and addresses entered for invoices
- Product Information: Product names, descriptions, prices, and inventory details
- Transaction Data: Invoice details, quotations, payment information, and transaction history
- Voice Data: Voice recordings when using voice input feature (processed locally and not stored)
2. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App features used, frequency of use, and interaction patterns
- IP Address: Your device's IP address for analytics and fraud prevention
- Advertising ID: Mobile advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) for personalized advertising
- Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location)
- Log Data: Error logs, crashes, and performance data for app improvement
3. Permissions We Request
- Microphone: For voice input feature to create invoices
- Storage: To save invoices, PDFs, and business data locally on your device
- Internet: For optional cloud backup and PDF sharing features
- Camera: For uploading business logo (optional)

Local Storage

Note: While we implement security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend regular backups of your data.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or business information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly choose to share invoices via WhatsApp, email, or other apps
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., cloud storage if you enable backup, analytics services)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)
Voice Data and Speech Recognition
When you use the voice input feature:
- Voice recordings are processed locally on your device using Android's speech recognition API
- We do not store or retain voice recordings after they are converted to text
- Voice data may be sent to Google's speech recognition service (per Google's privacy policy)
- You can disable voice input at any time and use manual entry instead
Advertising and Monetization
Billmator displays advertisements to provide our app free of charge. We use Appodeal, a mediation platform that works with multiple ad networks to serve ads in our app.
Information Collected by Appodeal and Ad Networks
When you use our app, Appodeal and its advertising partners may collect and process the following information:
- Advertising ID: Your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
- IP Address: Your device's IP address to determine approximate location
- Device Information: Device model, operating system, screen size, language settings
- Ad Interaction Data: Information about ads you view and click on
- App Usage Data: How you interact with ads in our app
Purpose of Data Collection

- Uninstall: Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data from your device
Children's Privacy
Billmator is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
International Data Transfers
Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are no routine international data transfers. If you use optional cloud backup features, your data may be transferred to and stored on servers in different countries, subject to appropriate safeguards.
